Guiding Kids with Kindness
This self-awareness and communication skills course gives children a safe place to explore their feelings for personal development.
The Evolve Kidz instructors and coaches do their personal development using EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and can help your kids learn to identify authentic feelings and beliefs that no longer server them and, anchor in new beliefs about themselves.
We work with the children on Mindfulness: A simple practice of bringing a kind and loving attitude to the present moment. In addition, we believe teaching them that they are at choice to have a feeling and how to self-calm improves family, school, and friendship relationships. This helps to promote happiness and relieves stress. The activities the children participate in help them to develop compassion, focus, curiosity and empathy.
Our students, and returning children, work on self esteem, how to flip negative self-talk, and learning how to love themselves. In addition, family relationships see improvement with these new communication tools.
Best of all, they learn about who owns a problem and about taking on someone else’s problem is giving their power away. Setting boundaries, which comes up a lot in bullying, teaches them how to stand in their own power.

What to expect
Evolve Kidz workshops are two-days of one weekend. It takes the two-days for children to power through issues and have breakthroughs in the first weekend. Styles of parenting vary. Tawnya Perry recommends that parents and children continue personal development through coaching and/or parents taking the parenting/care-taker course on Evolve Parenting. In conclusion, students are encouraged to come back to Evolve Kidz workshop as ‘Angel mentors’ to the next group of students. Evolve courses encourage building a community that supports stronger families and healthy teams.
Graduation: Sunday evening, after the course we have a Graduation celebration for all the work they have done during the weekend. Parents, family, and friends are invited to attend.
The following week Tawnya Perry has a conference call with the parents to share insights about issues that came up during the weekend and how they can support their child with the new tools they have learned

These courses are healing lives! Evolve Parents course opened my eyes to how I can identify the most effective way to handle the little ones, and assisting at Evolve Kidz course I found that they are easily changing lives for the better right now and I can’t wait to see how self-loving and self-knowing the kids are as they grow! Bottom line: I wouldn’t trade these experiences for anything in the world!
I was going through a divorce in 2016 and searched for something to help me and my two young children deal with the changes going on in our world. I found The Living Course and, through it, discovered the Evolve Kidz and the RCB Parenting Course with Tawnya Perry. My daughter was 7 years old when she first went through the Evolve Kidz course. She entered the first day very nervous, not knowing what to expect. When I picked her up at the end of the day her first words were, “I can’t wait for tomorrow!” Whew! I was thrilled! She loves the Evolve Kidz course and has gone back to Angel/assist multiple times. We even did it together and had an amazing time! It has truly helped her learn skills to deal with bullying, confidence, building friendships, and relating to her peers and parents.
There is so much love from the other children and the adults at the Evolve Kidz course. I would highly recommend it to anyone who has a child. You don’t have to be “dealing with something” to need it – it’s beneficial to everyone. The children learn great life skills that will help them forever. They should teach this in all schools across America!
My daughter learned ways to communicate with me and others that help her get her needs met and help me understand her better. Tawnya and the whole Evolve Kidz course team/staff is truly amazing! Tawyna has always made herself available for follow-up and follow-through.
In this day and age, with bullying and social media on the rise and all the struggles children face, this course has been really helpful in so many ways!
